New hair products are always fun to experiment with. I've been learning more about my hair since I came to college and it's made the whole experimentation process that much more fun! So, what makes new products even more fun? When they're free! Thanks to Influenster, I was able to try out some awesome products from the Dessange Paris Oleo Miracle Collection!

I started co-washing my hair a few weeks ago so I wasn't used to washing my hair with shampoo before the conditioner. So, in my opinion, I felt like the shampoo made my hair feel really dry and rough. Also, my hair became pretty tangled which wasn't a huge problem because I conditioned it immediately afterwards. However, I didn't have to use a lot of the product because the shampoo wasn't too thick and it lathered pretty well. Also, if you're a fan of citrus scents, you would love this product! The scent wasn't overbearing but the orange & lemon fragrances were very abundant.

This conditioner is LOVE. I'm a conditioner fanatic because I love the soft feeling that is left behind so I was very anxious to try this product! Since my hair is pretty thick, I tend to condition it two times: the first time, I leave the conditioner in for about 40 seconds and the second time is just to reach the areas that might not have been conditioned the first time (normally the ends & the edges). This product gave my hair that same feeling that I love and, when I got out of the show, my hair was free of tangles & still smelled of oranges! One thing that I will note is that it was a little thicker than I anticipated but still left my hair feeling fantastic. Once again, the product was very fragrant, leaving my shower smelling like orange trees!

In regards to the consistency, this oil was pretty thick. I normally use regular argon oil which isn't very thick so I expected the product to be similar in it's consistency. When I pumped the bottle, a lot of oil came out and it was very very thick. Since I had just blowdryed my hair, I didn't want to put on too much oil so I wiped some of it off on a nearby towel and made sure to pump just a small dime-sized circle into my palm.
However, I will say that scent, once again, is amazing & the shine and gloss that it added to my hair was fantastic! I like to section my hair and apply a little oil before flat-ironing it & I could really tell the difference between my un-oiled hair and my hair with this product. I am definitely looking forward to using this oil on my hair in the future!

All in all, I was extremely happy with these products and I would probably recommend them to all of my viewers. Normally, I am hesitant to try new products that aren't specifically geared to women of color but this collection actually worked very well for my hair!
